Athletistic/Tennis. The world’s first racket, Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev told how he relates to performance without the national flag of the Russian Federation.

“Playing under a neutral flag doesn’t change anything. I love playing tennis. I want to follow the rules. I’m Daniil Medvedev. We all love tennis, but we don’t just play to hit the ball. We all want to win” , Medvedev said.

Daniil, like other Russian tennis players, has been playing in a neutral status since March 2022 due to the political situation in Ukraine, which led to sanctions against Russian athletes.

On August 10, Medvedev will play his first match at the Canadian Open (Canada Open), in which his opponent will be the winner of the pair Sebastian Baez (Argentina) – Nick Quirgios (Australia).
