Athletistic/Tennis. World number one Jannik Sinner of Italy has shared his thoughts on the game’s weaknesses ahead of the 2024 US Open final.

“My weaknesses? Of course, the game is played at the net. Sometimes I make mistakes on the volley. There are also questions about the choice of shots – I think in some situations I could have played better. My team and I understand perfectly what we need to work on. For example, today we should have gone to the net more often. It’s a matter of time. I’ve been in situations where I lost after doing everything right, and sometimes I won without playing my best. It’s important to always find a balance and discuss everything with the team,” Sinner noted at the press conference.

In the final match, the Italian will face the world’s 12th ranked player, Taylor Fritz.

  • Fritz is the first American to reach a Grand Slam final in 15 years.
