Athletistic/ Tennis. Four-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz of Spain has commented on his unsuccessful performance at the 2024 US Open.
“At the US Open, I couldn’t play at the level I would have liked. It’s very difficult to give 100% every day. That’s tennis. Anything can happen. You have to accept things as they come. After several days of talking with the team, we came to the conclusion that I lacked preparation.
“I had a very busy summer with Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the Olympics. I only had a few days off, so I didn’t have time to improve what I wanted before the tournament started in New York,” Punto de Break quoted Alcaraz as saying.
The US Open was won by Italian Jannik Sinner.
