Russian tennis player Kamilla Rakhimova moved from 89th to 73rd position in the updated Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, published by the organization’s press service.
Last week, Rakhimova, 23, reached the quarterfinals of a tournament in Guadalajara, Mexico, where she lost to Colombian representative Camila Osorio-Serrano. The Russian now has 905 points in the ranking.
There were two changes in the top 10: Greece’s Maria Sakkari moved up from 9th to 10th and American Danielle Collins moved up from 11th to 10th. Poland’s Iga Szwiatek (10,885) retains the lead, Belarus’ Arina Sabalenka (8,716) is second and American representative Jessica Pegula (6,220) is third.
