Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur announced that due to injury she would no longer compete this season.
The 30-year-old athlete is ranked 22nd in the WTA rankings.
“This year has been extremely difficult for me. Every athlete knows that recovery is part of our journey.
“Due to a shoulder injury, a difficult decision has been made: I will no longer be on the field this season. See you in 2025,” Jabeur wrote on the social network.
Jabeur is a finalist of three Grand Slam singles tournaments (Wimbledon 2022, 2023 and US Open 2022), winner of five WTA singles tournaments.
