Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina moved up from 13th to 10th place in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) championship race, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.
Kasatkina reached the final of the tournament in Seoul last week, where she lost to Brazil’s Beatrice Haddad-Maya.
The tennis players who won the top eight places in the race at the end of the season will take part in the WTA Finals tournament, which will be held in November in Saudi Arabia. So far, Polish Iga Szwiatek and Belarusian Arina Sabalenka have participated.
