Ludmila repeated Elina Svitolina’s national record and updated her own achievement among pairs
Ukrainian tennis player Ludmila Kichenok became third racket of the world V women’s doubles in the updated rating WTA.
Lyudmila has moved up two places compared to the last edition. Kichenok has set a new Ukrainian record in doubles, updating her own achievement.
Also, Lyudmila’s result is a repeat of the national record in women’s world tennis. Earlier in 2017, Elina Svitolina became the world’s third racket in singles.
Lyudmila, together with Jelena Ostapenko from Latvia, won the 2024 US Open. This year, Kichenok and Ostapenko won doubles tournaments in Brisbane and Eastbourne, and also reached the final of the Australian Open. Lyudmila and Jelena lead the WTA doubles championship race this season and have qualified for the WTA Finals.
