Russian tennis player Pavel Kotov defeated Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena in the final round of qualifying for the ATP 500 tournament in Beijing.
Kotov won in three sets with a score of 7:6 (7:3), 4:6, 6:3. The meeting lasted a little more than three hours.
In another match of the final qualifying tournament, the Russian Roman Safioulline lost to Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut in three sets and failed to enter the main draw.
