Russian tennis players Mirra Andreeva And Diane Schneider reached the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Beijing in doubles.
In the first round, Andreeva and Schneider defeated Japanese Shuko Aoyama and Eri Hozumi. The match lasted 1 hour 1 minute and ended with a score of 6:0, 6:2 in favor of the Russians.
Andreeva and Schneider played their first match together as a duo since the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, where they won silver.
The Russians’ opponents in the next round will be determined later.
