The attackers attacked the Roland Garros tennis complex, where one of the Grand Slam tournaments, the French Open, takes place each year, reports RMC Sport.
Sunday evening, one or more unknown persons managed to enter the complex located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. 11 thousand euros in cash and jewelry worth 20 thousand euros were stolen from the offices.
In 2024, Roland Garros took place from May 26 to June 9, with Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek becoming champions in the men’s and women’s singles.
