The fight was much easier for the American than the quarterfinal with the Ukrainian Starodubtseva
American tennis player Coco Gauff won the tournament WTA 1000 V Beijing (China). In the final, the sixth racket of the world easily dealt with Karolina Mukhova from the Czech Republic.
The 49th racket in the WTA rankings was unable to impose a worthy fight on the American woman who had gained powerful shape. Coco crushingly won the first set in half an hour – 6:1.
In the second game, Muchova tried to take revenge and led 2:0, but Gauff immediately jumped in and took four games in a row. What followed was a matter of technique for her – 6:3 and another title on her record.
Let us remind you that in the quarterfinals of the Beijing tournament, Gauff won a strong-willed victory over Ukrainian Yulia Starodubtseva. The semifinal with Spain’s Paula Badosa was no less difficult for the US representative – another comeback in three sets. But in the decisive match for the title, Coco did not experience any problems.
