Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva rose from 22nd to 19th place in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.
Last week, Andreeva reached the quarterfinals of the Beijing tournament. For a 17-year-old tennis player, this is the highest position in the world rankings.
Another Russian, Anna Kalinskaya, moved from 14th to 13th place in the ranking. Russia’s first racket Daria Kasatkina is 11th.
The winner of the tournament in China, American Cori Gauff, moved up two places to fourth.
