Russian tennis player Kamilla Rakhimova will compete in the main draw of the WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan, China, after Czech Karolina Muchova withdrew.
Previously, Rakhimova failed to qualify, losing in the final to American Bernarda Pere.
— Unfortunately, I will not be able to participate in the competition in Wuhan this year. After a difficult schedule in Beijing, I need more time to fully recover,” Muchova wrote on the social network.
In the first round of the tournament, Rakhimova will face Japan’s Moyuki Uchijima.
