Alcaraz beat Rune to face Nadal in semi-final of exhibition tournament in Saudi Arabia

Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz reached the semi-finals of the Six Kings Slam exhibition tournament, which takes place in Saudi Arabia.

In the quarterfinals, the Spaniard defeated the Dane Holger Rune in straight sets with a score of 6:4, 6:2. The match lasted 1 hour 12 minutes.

Alcaraz will face his compatriot Rafael Nadal in the semi-final. Earlier, Nadal, 38, announced his retirement. His last tournament will be the Davis Cup Final Eight in November.

The final and third place match of the Six Kings Slam will take place on October 19. Tennis players will receive 1.5 million euros for their participation in the tournament. The prize money for the winner is 6 million.
