Karen Khachanov and Aslan Karatsev will start in the first round. Both had the Americans as rivals. Khachanov will fight with Sebastian Korda and Karatsev – with Brandon Nakashima, who replaced Novak Djokovic, who had withdrawn from the tournament, in the main draw.
Daniil Medvedev (1st seed) and Andrei Rublev (6th) will start their journey in the tournament from the second round. Medvedev’s first opponent will be the winner of the pair Botik Van de Zandshulp (Netherlands) – Maxim Cressy (USA), and Rublev will play either with Spaniard Albert Ramos or with someone from qualification.
The Masters in Cincinnati will take place August 14-22.
