Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic confirmed that he had withdrawn from the Masters Series tournament in Paris.
The former world number one will miss the tournament, scheduled for October 28 to November 3, for the first time since 2020.
— Unfortunately, I will not play at the Masters in Paris this year. I apologize to those who were hoping to see me there. “I have many memories associated with this tournament and I hope to return next year,” Djokovic wrote on social media.
Currently, 37-year-old Djokovic ranks sixth in the ATP Championship. The Serbian has not yet guaranteed his participation in the final tournament in Turin (Italy), which will be held from November 10 to 17.
