Romanian tennis player, former world number one Simona Halep beat Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia in the final of the WTA 1000 category tournament in Toronto, Canada.
In the first set, Haddad Maia took a 3-0 lead, but Halep went on to win six in a row. The second game was left to the Brazilian tennis player, but in the deciding set the Romanian confidently took over – 6:2.
