Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov rose three places in the updated version of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, published Monday on the organization’s website.
On Sunday, Khachanov lost to Briton Draper with a score of 4:6, 5:7 in the final of the tournament in Vienna. The tennis player made the final of the second consecutive tournament; a week ago he won the title in Almaty. Khachanov moved from 24th to 21st place.
Among the Russians, the best in the ranking remains Daniil Medvedev, who occupies fifth place. Andrey Rublev is seventh.
There were no changes in the top 10: the leader is the Italian Jannik Sinner, who secured the first place at the end of the season, the second is the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the third is the German representative Alexander Zverev, fourth place is occupied by Serbian Novak Djokovic. Australian Alex De Minaur completes the top ten.
Spaniard Rafael Nadal, who announced his imminent retirement, ranks 153rd.
