Hope And Marina Kolb became the fourth duet of Ukrainian sisters who will play in the main doubles draw at the level WTA Tour.
Two Ukrainians will make their debut in the first round of the competition WTA 250which runs from October 28 to November 3 on hard courts in Hong Kong. In their debut match, Nadezhda and Marina will face off against the Japanese pair Aoi Ito / Kyoka Okamura.
Earlier in the season, the Kolb sisters reached the finals of ITF tournaments four times, but failed to win any of them. In the WTA doubles rankings, Nadya and Marina occupy 252nd place.
Previously, in the doubles of WTA tournaments, Ukraine was represented by such sister tandems as Alena and Katerina Bondarenko, Lyudmila and Nadezhda Kichenok, Dayana and Ivanna Yastremsky.
