Multiple Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic on the social network, he expressed his condolences following the tragedy that occurred in the city of Novi Sad.
Fourteen people were killed when a concrete canopy collapsed at the train station in Serbia’s second most populous city. The canopy collapsed around noon local time, onto people sitting on benches outside the station.
“My heart goes out to everyone affected by the tragedy in Novi Sad. Our deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims,” Djokovic wrote.
The Serbian government declared November 2 a day of mourning.
