Italian tennis player Jasmine Paolini beat the representative of Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina at the start of the WTA final tournament in Riyadh.
Paolini defeated his opponent in straight sets; the tennis players spent 1 hour and 46 minutes on the court.
Also in Group A are Belarusian world number one Arina Sabalenka and China’s Zheng Qingwen.
In the next match, Paolini will play against Sabalenka on November 4, Rybakina will meet Zheng on the same day.
