Zavatskaya made it to the doubles semifinals of the WTA 125 tournament in Colombia

Ukrainian tennis player Katarina Zavatskaya in a duet with a Croatian Tara Wurth beat a couple Alena Bolshova (Spain) / Valeria Strakhova (Ukraine) and made it to the semi-finals of the doubles tournament WTA 125 V Cali (Colombia).

The match lasted 2 hours and 4 minutes. In the first game, Zavatskaya and Wurth allowed their opponents to make three breaks, losing with a score of 3:6.

The second set was a very tough fight. Zavatskaya and Wurth lost 3:5, but were able to bring the matter to a tiebreaker, where they won. In the decisive third game in the super tiebreak, Katarina and Tara Wurth won 10:6, securing a spot further in the tournament bracket.

In the semi-finals, the Ukrainian-Croatian duo will face the winners of the confrontation between Yasmin Ortenzi (Argentina) / Lussiana Perez (Peru) – Maria Kononova / Maria Kozyreva (both “neutral”).
