The Ukrainian beat Karina Miller in three sets
Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko beat in three sets Karina Miller and made it to the semi-finals of the tournament WTA 125 V Midland (USA).
The match lasted 1 hour and 49 minutes. Tsurenko played the opening game unsuccessfully – she lost absolutely all the games on her serve, but made three breaks and lost 3:6 in the end.
The second set went completely differently – the Ukrainian again performed well on the return (making four breaks) and won the game with a score of 6:2.
The third game ended with a similar score of 6:2 – Miller did not serve the best in this match, which was the key to Tsurenko’s final victory.
In the semi-finals, the Ukrainian will meet with Canadian representative Rebecca Marino. It will take place this evening, starting no earlier than 22:30 Kyiv time.
