Ukrainian tennis player Katarina Zavatskaya in a duet with a Croatian Tara Wurth was defeated in the final of the doubles tournament WTA 125 in Cali (Colombia), losing to the first seeded pair Veronica Erjavec And Kristine Mladenovic.
The match lasted 1 hour and 21 minutes. In the opening game, the fight on the court did not work out – Zavatskaya and Wurth allowed their opponents to lead with three breaks, suffering a final defeat with a score of 2:6.
The second set turned out to be very equal – each side took a game on each other’s serve, and in the end they had to resort to a tiebreaker. Zavatskaya and Wurth were leading 3:1, but lost their advantage, allowing their more status rivals to apply for the title on the very first try.
