Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev rated the 2024 season as a success for himself, as he was able to qualify for the final ATP tournament.
In the first match of the group stage of the final tournament, Rublev will face Germany’s Alexander Zverev on Monday.
“No matter what negative thoughts I gave myself during this season – that maybe it’s not that good or that it’s the worst of my career, something like that – but if you look at it in a way Realistically, I managed to achieve success by reaching the final tournament, “because to achieve that you have to have a very good season,” Rublev said as quoted by the official website of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
Rublev is 27 years old and ranked eighth in the world rankings. He has 16 ATP titles to his credit, including two won in 2024: the Madrid Masters and the ATP 250 tournament in Hong Kong.
