Norwegian tennis player Casper Ruud beat former Spanish world number 1 Carlos Alcaraz during the first match of the group stage of the ATP Finals tournament in Turin, Italy.
The match lasted 1 hour 25 minutes and ended with Ruud’s victory with a score of 6:1, 7:5. In the second game, the Norwegian did not allow Alcaraz to serve for the set.
Later, in another match in John Newcombe’s group, Russian Andrey Rublev and German representative Alexander Zverev will meet.
