Norwegian tennis player Casper Ruud talked about the game plan with the Russian Andrei Rublev at the ATP final tournament in Turin.
The meeting will take place on Friday.
— I think Rublev is a very good player. I will do my best. We both need a win to have any chance of reaching the semi-finals. It will be interesting. Andrey is my very good friend. We get along very well. My game plan is just to try to play good tennis,” Ruud told a press conference.
Ruud and Rublev perform in John Newcombe’s group alongside Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz and German Alexander Zverev. The Russian has two defeats, Ruud won the match against Alcaraz and lost to Zverev.
