Sinner defeated Medvedev in the third round of the 2024 ATP Finals

Yannick, along with Taylor Fritz, advanced to the semi-finals, while the “neutral” Medvedev ended his participation in the tournament

The match lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes. In the opening game, the audience saw only one break – Jannik Sinner scored it and won the set with a score of 6:3.

In the second game, Sinner led 3:1 with a break, but allowed Medvedev to return to the game. With the score 4:4, the Italian once again took his opponent’s serve, which was the key to the final victory.

Thus, Jannik Sinner, together with Taylor Fritz, advanced to the semi-finals of the ATP 2024 Final Tournament. Daniil Medvedev finished the group stage in third place and, together with Australian Alex De Minaur, leaves the tournament.

Sinner and Fritz’s semi-final opponents will be determined tomorrow when the final matches are played in John Newcombe’s group, which includes Alexander Zverev, Casper Ruud, Carlos Alcaraz and Andrey Rublev.
