The world’s first racket Daniel Medvedev commented on his preparation for the Masters Series tournament, which takes place in Cincinnati.
The Russian said he intends to go as far as possible on the tournament grid and thus prepare for the US Open.
“Here (in Cincinnati) it’s a very heavy net. I want to try to win as many games as possible in order to get a positive charge before the start of the US Open, but now I wouldn’t want to look far” , said the ATP press service citing Medvedev.
Medvedev received the first seed and starts in Cincinnati from the second round, in which he will play with Dutchman Botik van de Zandshulp. He could potentially face Andrei Rublev in the quarter-finals.
