Russian Daniel Medvedev fell to fifth place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, an updated version of which was published on the official website of the organization.
Last week, Medvedev failed to reach the semi-finals of the ATP Finals tournament in Turin, losing two matches in the group stage.
The winner of the competition, the Italian Jannik Sinner, retained the first line of the ranking. The second finalist of the Final Tournament, American Taylor Fritz, moved up one place and became fourth.
Norwegian Kasper Ruud overtook Serbian Novak Djokovic and became the sixth racket in the world, Andrey Rublev retained the eighth position.
