In the qualifying final, Alexandra beat the Swiss In-Albon
Ukrainian tennis player Alexandra Oleynikova will play in the main draw of a series tournament for the second time in his career WTA 125.
The Ukrainian successfully completed the qualifying round in Chilean Colina, beating the Swiss Ilena In-Albon in two sets. The duration of the match was one hour and 37 minutes.
In the first game, the opponents played on equal terms for a long time, but Oleynikova managed a decisive break point with the score 4:3. In the second set, thanks to three breaks, Alexandra made the score 5:2, and then a protracted rally followed, where In-Albon was one step away from success on someone else’s serve six times, but the Ukrainian still took the game, set and match on the third attempt.
In the first round of the tournament, the Ukrainian tennis player will face Argentinean Martina Capurro-Taborda.
Let us remind you that at the end of October Oleynikova won the ITF W35 tournament in Heraklion (Greece). Alexandra ranks 308th in the world rankings.
