The Slovaks will play Italy in the final match of the tournament
Team Slovakia beat UK in the semi-finals Billie Jean King Cup 2024.
In the first match of the confrontation, Emma Raducanu defeated Victoria Grunchakova. In each set, the British woman took two of her opponent’s serves, giving one to her own.
Next, Rebecca Shramkova managed to defeat Katie Boulter. The Slovakian lost the first set, but in a difficult fight she managed to take the next two.
In the confrontation between the pairs, Grunchakova, together with Tereza Mikhalkova, beat Olivia Nicholls and Heather Watson. The Slovaks left their opponents two games in each set.
The Slovakian national team will meet Italy in the final. In their semi-final match, the Italians beat the Polish team.
