In the semi-finals, Vladislav was stronger than his compatriot Krutykh
Ukrainian tennis player Vladislav Orlov lost dramatically to the Colombian Adria Soriano Barrere in the final of the tournament ITF M15 in Heraklion, Greece.
The fight lasted two hours and 14 minutes. The Ukrainian confidently won the first set thanks to two breaks (6:2), but failed to build on his success. The key episode of the second game was the protracted eighth game. With the score 3:4, Orlov missed a game ball three times on his serve, fought off four break points himself, but still allowed his opponent to take the game.
Soriano Barrera, seeded number one at the tournament, eventually won a strong-willed victory, winning the third set with a clean score.
Vladislav made it to the final thanks to a strong-willed victory over compatriot Alexei Krutykh (4:6, 6:3, 6:2).
Let us remind you that in the latest edition of the ATP ranking, Orlov immediately lost 52 positions and currently ranks 661st, being the tenth racket of Ukraine.
