Winner of the 2009 US Open, Argentinian Juan Martín Del Potro played his farewell match in Buenos Aires.
Del Potro’s rival is a Serb Novak Djokovic former world number one. The match was called “The Last Test”. Del Potro won with a score of 6:4, 7:5.
Del Potro, 36, stopped playing in February 2022 due to a serious knee injury. Throughout his career, he has won 22 ATP Tour titles, as well as an Olympic silver medal in 2016 and an Olympic bronze medal in 2012 in singles.
Del Potro has played 20 matches against Djokovic in ATP tournaments and won four of them.
