Katerina Beindl failed to continue the fight in the USA
Two Ukrainian tennis players – Daria Snigur and Katerina Beindl – started in the tournament ITF W60 in the American Bronx.
Snigur defeated the representative of Austria Julia Graber in two sets. The meeting lasted one hour and 5 minutes, during which Daria won the first set dry (6:0), and managed to make Graber one more break in the second set (7:5).
Beindl failed to support the success of her compatriot. Katerina was injured in the match against Kamilla Rakhimova and was forced to refuse to continue the meeting at the beginning of the second set.
Snigur, who advanced to the second round, will play against the representative of South Korea Su Jeng Chan. The match is scheduled for Thursday, August 18.
