‘That shouldn’t be a reason for the headlines’ – Selivanenko on Rublev’s departure from the top 10

Russian Tennis Federation (RTF) Vice-President Alexei Selivanenko has commented on the Russian’s departure Andrei Rublev of the ranking of the 10 best men.

After losing to American Taylor Fritz, Rublev will drop to 11th place.

– Everyone who follows tennis understands that the ATP ranking should be taken with absolute calm. There is a constant movement, every week there are changes. That shouldn’t be a reason for the headlines. The rating reflects the results of the last 12 months, taking into account all the nuances – some points are added, while others are burned, – Selivanenko quotes “Championship”.
