According to Bild, Zverev doesn’t feel quite ready to return to the court so he will continue to achieve peak physical condition in Monaco.
On June 3, in the semi-finals of Roland Garros, Alexander Zverev faced the Spaniard Rafael Nadal. In the second set – with the score 6:5 in favor of Zverev and 40-30 – on the serve of Nadal – Alexander suffered an ankle injury, due to which he could not continue the game, and Nadal took a technical victory.
A medical examination revealed a ruptured lateral ankle ligaments in Zverev. After a successful operation, Alexander began to recover from the damage.
