Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova announced that she was marrying her own trainer Jiri Vaneka .
On her Twitter page, the 32-year-old athlete, who won Wimbledon twice, showed a photo with her future husband, taken on the podium of one of the courts in London.
“I wanted to share good news with you guys…I said yes in my special place,” Kvitova wrote.
In addition to Wimbledon in 2011 and 2014, the Czech again reached the final of Grand Slam tournaments – this happened at the Australian Open in 2019. Last week, Kvitova reached the final of the tournament in Cincinnati, where she lost to Caroline Garcia and failed to win her 30th career title.
Kvitova and Vanek started working together in 2016.
