Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova dropped from 10th to 12th place in the race for the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) championship, according to the WTA website.
Last week, Kudermetova failed to reach the quarter-finals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati (USA), losing in the third round to Australian Ayla Tomlyanovic. French winner Caroline Garcia moved up 13 places to ninth.
Russia’s first racket Daria Kasatkina retained sixth position in the race, is still in the lead Iga Schwentek from Poland.
