Charity match at the US Open in support of Ukraine raised more than a million dollars

The money will be transferred to the platform “Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund”

A charity tennis match in support of Ukraine took place in New York.

The US Open promotion grossed $1.2 million. The event was attended by Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Jessica Pegula, Iga Sventek and other representatives of world tennis.

Among the Ukrainian athletes, Sergey Stakhovsky, Olga Savchuk, Dayana Yastremskaya, Katarina Zavatskaya and Daria Snigur entered the court in the USA.

The funds raised at the event will be donated to the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund charity platform and will be used to provide humanitarian support to Ukraine.

Early on the morning of February 24, Russia launched rocket and air strikes on most Ukrainian cities and then launched a full-scale military invasion. The war against Russia continues for the 183rd day.
