Delbonis advances to US Open qualy: the Argentine results

Delbonis beat the american Ethan Quinn 5-7, 6-1 and 6-2 for the second round of qualifying to enter the main draw of the US Open. The Argentine, who is ranked 136th in the ATP world ranking and performed in qualifying with a victory over Hungarian Zsombor Piros (158), today will face Jesper De Jong (212) defeated Altug Celikbilek (234) 6-2 and 7-5.

Argentina’s other hope of qualifying for the US Open is Burnt (106°)who defeated the Japanese Kaichi Uchida (169th) 6-2 and 6-3 and in the third round he awaits the Italian Andreas Seppiwho eliminated Canadian Vasek Pospisil 3-6, 6-2, 7-5.
