Russian tennis player Ludmila Samsonova reached the semi-finals of the WTA 250 tournament in Cleveland (USA).
In the quarter-final meeting, the Russian beat the representative of Poland Magda Linett with the score 6:4, 6:3. The meeting lasted 1h34.
Samsonova’s next opponent will be the winner of the confrontation between two Americans – Sofia Kenin and Bernarda Pera. Alexandra Sasnovich (Belarus, seeded seventh) and France’s Alize Cornet (8) will play the second semi-final of the tournament.
