Ukrainian defeated 16-year-old Czech Yakub Menshik
Ukrainian tennis player Alexey Krutykh will play in the final of the series tournament ATP Challenger in Prague. AT semi-final duel, the Ukrainian beat the 16-year-old in two sets Yakuba Menshikand from the Czech Republic.
The fight lasted over an hour and a half. Krutykh started the fight unsuccessfully, lost two of his serves and lost 1:5. However, he then won six games in a row and won the set.
In the second installment Alexey already kept the situation under control. The Ukrainian twice took the opponent’s serve, losing one of his own. It should be noted that during the match Menshik made 8 double faults, while the Ukrainian served reliably and never made a mistake.
Krutykh has already achieved his best result of the season when he reached the semi-finals of the Challenger in Prague. In the decisive match, the Ukrainian will meet the winner of the match Lucas Gerch (Germany) – Joao Domingues (Portugal), who had previously beaten Vitaliy Sachko.
