“The worst court of my life.” The Spartakiad finalist of tennis’ strongest criticized the playing surface

Tennis player Marat Sharipov, representing the Republic of Tatarstan, criticized the field of the All-Russian sports competition of the strongest, calling it the worst in his life.

In the final of the men’s category, Ivan Nedelko from St. Petersburg defeated Sharipov with the score 6:3, 6:2.

In one of the draws, the ball bounced off the court in a direction Sharipov did not expect, the athlete turned to the audience in bewilderment and shouted: “I just don’t want to play!”. On the following draw, Sharipov said, “Worst ground I have ever played in my life.”

The Tennis Spartakiad took place in Moscow from August 22-28.
