US Open kicks off today, August 29
Ukrainian tennis players Marta Kostyuk, Lyudmila and Nadezhda Kichenok, Angelina Kalinina will play in the US Open doubles tournament.
Fourth seeded Lyudmila Kichenok and Latvian Elena Ostapenko will play the first round match with Deva Udvardi from Hungary and Tamara Zidansek from Slovenia.
Seeded under the eleventh number Marta Kostyuk and Chinese Zhang Shuai at the start will play a match against Nadezhda Kichenok and Oksana Kalashnikova from Georgia.
Angelina Kalinina and Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan will meet in the first round with Harriet Dart from the UK and Lyudmila Samsonova, who plays under a neutral status.
Recall that five Ukrainian women will perform in the US Open singles. Kalinina, Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya and Lesya Tsurenko got into the main draw of the tournament directly. And Daria Snigur made it through the qualifying tournament.
