On the US Open 2022 coaches will be allowed give hints players during the match.
Coaches will be allowed to assist their players as long as they remain in their position in the box and the player is on the same side of the court.
This practice is introduced for the first time at Grand Slam tournaments. Previously, coaches were fined for explicit tips.
Recall that Daria Snigur won the qualification and became the fifth Ukrainian to play in the main draw of the American Major. Recall that Angelina Kalinina, Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya and Lesya Tsurenko got into the main draw of the tournament directly.
In the first round of the US Open, Snigur will play with former world No. 7 seeded in the US, Romanian Simona Halep. The fight is set for August 29th.
US Open-2022 will be held from August 29 to September 11.
