Vladimir Korolev and Anton Chekhov, representing Moscow, defeated Timur Kiyamov and Marat Sharipov of Tatarstan in the final of the men’s doubles tennis tournament as part of the All-Russian Spartakiad in summer sports among the strongest athletes in 2022 .
The match ended with the score of 3:6, 6:2, 10:8. In the match for third place, Dmitry Dolzhenkov and Ilya Simakin from Tatarstan proved to be stronger than the pair from the Moscow region Andrey Uvarov / Petr Kapuskin – 7: 5, 6: 2.
Muscovites Amina Anshba and Sofia Lansere won the women’s doubles, beating Anna Ureke and Valeria Yushchenko 6:4, 6:2. Bronze was won by Rostov Alexandra Shubladze and Daria Egorova.
The Summer Spartakiad will last until October 2. Competitions are held in 39 sports in 12 regions of the country.
