Russian tennis player Daniel Medvedev shared his emotions from victory over American Stefan Kozlov in the US Open first round match.
The game ended with the score 6:2, 6:4, 6:0. Medvedev had 10 aces, 3 double faults and converted 8 of 16 break points.
– Glad to have won. Not easy conditions. It was quite hot and humid. I was sweating a lot, but I think there are good times. I managed to show a solid game. I think my pitch played a key role today. I’m happy to go to the second round, – Medvedev is quoted by the official website of ATP.
In the next round, Medvedev, who is the current winner of the US Open, will face Frenchman Arthur Rinderkneh.
