Ukrainian lost to Azarenka in two sets
Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk retired from singles US Open 2022.
In the second round match of the US Open, Kostyuk lost in straight sets to Victoria Azarenka. Tennis players spent almost an hour and a half on the court.
For the entire match, Kostyuk converted two of nine breakpoints, giving Azarenka five games on her serve. Martha also made five double faults.
According to the results of the first round, Dayana Yastremskaya and Lesya Tsurenko left the US Open singles. Daria Snigur was defeated in the second round, and Angelina Kalinina withdrew from the tournament due to illness.
