“I don’t know if players can be more than a sport. If that happens and some people get advantages in terms of rules and permissions to do things that others can’t do, that would be “A problem. Serena’s case? I don’t think so. For example, when she didn’t behave properly on the pitch, she was punished the same way anyone else would be punished.”
Andy Murray and Serena Williams are currently competing at the US Open. On September 2, Murray will play Italian Matteo Berretini in the third round of the tournament, and Williams will meet Australia representative Ayla Tomlyanovic on the same day at the same stadium.
